Current students

Most of what you need day to day is on the student intranet, which you can reach once you have signed in with your University account. These are the things people ask for most.

The Student Hub

The Student Hub on the ground floor of the Old Schools answers questions about registration, fees, letters confirming your studies, examinations and student visas. It is open from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, in term. student.hub@oxenfurt.uk · 01632 960520

Dates

Term dates for this year and next. Examination timetables are published on the student intranet six weeks before each examination period.

Wellbeing and support

The Student Wellbeing Service offers counselling, mental health advice and disability support. Appointments can be made through the student intranet; in an emergency outside office hours, contact the Security Control Room on 01632 960733, which can reach the on-call welfare officer.

Money

The Oxenfurt Bursary, the Ferry Bursary and the Hardship Fund. Bursaries are paid in the third week of each term.

Getting around

Termly passes for the Pontar Crossing are sold by the Students’ Union. If high water cancels the ferry, the University accepts it as a reason for late arrival at teaching, examinations and the Library.

The Students’ Union

Oxenfurt University Students’ Union, on Rendle Street, is run by students for students, with 214 clubs and societies and an independent advice centre.
